02 — The Lazy Genius

Kendra Adachi, The Lazy Genius, has recently released her second book into the world. If you are familiar with the Enneagram, she confesses to be a classic list making One and was miserable. Then, she began developing a better way to live. Be a genius about the things that matter and lazy about the ones that don’t. Lazy Genius Way was an intro in the principles of being a LG and now she takes it to the kitchen, The Lazy Genius Kitchen. My favorite take away right now is “Don’t organize what you don’t like.” I can just get rid of it. She is deep, practical, and makes me feel more in control of my spaces. You can find her writing and podcast here

03 — Audible Books

I usually gravitate towards non-fiction books I can hold in my hand, but these last two years are not usual in any way. Turns out what I really needed to continue my reading habits was fiction on audio. I could also add the public library’s Hoopla to this list.

04 — Jackie Hill Perry

Authentic author and poet building a beautiful life in Atlanta with her equally talented husband, Preston, and four kids. She has a moody home design sense that includes dark paint and plants. She’s sarcastic in humor and firm in faith.
